I’m stepping out!
Talk to someone

I think we all need to unload the burden of our secretive, shameful behavior. I also feel the recipient of this information should be qualified and trustworthy.
The minute we speak to a trustworthy, nonjudgmental, individual concerning our shameful behavior, we are released from shames bondage.

When we share our shameful past, we must work towards healing and move on. We must leave this shameful memory in the past.

According to Dr. Brene Brown shame requires three things for survival, secrecy, silence and judgement.
I feel secrets have the potential to make us emotionally as well as physically sick.

Here is a link to what Dr. Brene Brown says about shame.
