The Millennial Warrior

The Helmet of Salvation

And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. Ephesians 6:17-18

The Helmet of salvation assures a believer they have the power through Christ to control their thoughts and the battle in their minds.

The helmet protects the head from trauma. The head houses the brain, which is the central control center of the body. Without the brain, the body is good for nothing other than harvesting the vital organs for another individual.

Anything and everything that enters your mind must be judged.

I use to own a book that listed all of Gods promises. This little book had the promises alphabetized, which made it easy to find them quickly. When I had a negative thought or emotion that did not line up with the word of God, I looked up what God said about that subject in my promise book and proclaimed it boldly out loud. This is an example of binding the negative thoughts that did not line up with the word of God and Loosing what God said about the subject.

This is an amazing tool!

I agree. I do believe an old saying” you are what you think”. It effects our everything. I use to say I never had a manual to raise my children but I do and did …The Bible…… God’s word. I could not have made it this far in life and still be happy if I would not have seek God first.
